GPS has launched a programme to achieve triple ISO certification in 2017 which will see its current 9001 upgraded to the 2015 standard and the addition of 14001 and OHSAS 18001, which becomes ISO 45001 later next year.
The company has appointed Certification International, a UKAS accredited certification body, and established an internal SHWEQ team to manage the implementation process to establish an integrated management system.
Managing Director Nigel Harrison said “the common structure of the 2015 standard is a very efficient way of managing three as one, and focusing three ways on every process. We are also using the opportunity to embed customer service standards as part of a documented quality system”.
